Almost 1,5 HA, approximately 1/4 of the total is “mixed,” or more correctly, promiscuous, as the olive trees alternate with the vines, as was typical on any Tuscan estate until the 1970s, when even the rural world was swept away by the great revolution/illusion of the economic boom.
The general layout of the estate has remained virtually unchanged since its founding, which, according to reliable sources, dates back to 1885, providing us with a splendid and true snapshot.
In terms of production, production hovers around 5,000-6,000 kg of grapes, yielding approximately 5,000 bottles per year, with more or less marked fluctuations due to seasonal weather patterns.
The product is the product of those who grow it, but it is also born of the environment in which it develops. Therefore, in addition to its quantity, the variations are evident in its organoleptic and chemical characteristics, giving it a personality that characterizes the foundation of the product year after year.
The houses were renovated after 2000, maintaining the original structures and image of the estate.
